Painted on December 6th 2020, this is my 6th Bob Ross painting. I'm still struggling with the mountains a bit, but having so much fun with this new hobby!
Wow thank you so much Midnite, all super helpful tips! I am usually good with a delicate hold of the knife but I'll pay attention to that. I thought I might have had too much base layer paint on my mountain this time, so that makes a lot of sense & confirms that was likely an issue here. I hadn't heard of the paper bag/cardboard thing, I will definitely try that next time! Thanks again!
Love the reflections!

Very nice trees and bushes! For paint break on mountains, put some highlight paint on paper bag/cardboard to remove extra oils, I do that for 15 minutes at least before I start and don’t overdo dark paint on base layer of mountain. A delicate hold on the knife where it’s about to drop from your hand; those were 3 things that helped me the most.
