I made my bridge a bit longer because of a bigger canvas (60x80 cm / 24x30 inch). Great painting to practice evergreens. I tried Bob's way for creating the path but failed miserably so I did it the old-fashioned way using a fan brush. I like the rocks on the riverbank, didn't know it would turn out this way when I was painting it. There are some other happy accidents but the end result is pretty decent.
Yes I would be happy with that! Love the bridge. You've made more of a feature of it. Think I might try a bridge next. The last footpath I did with the filbert, just rocked it side to side. With this method you can create a slight dip in it so it looks well trodden, and sloping slightly upward at the sides. Your path does look very good though, nice colours. And I like the water lines around the bridge posts.
