Thanks! I think this scene is deceptively difficult. Bob makes it look so simple, but all those layers of foliage are hard to pull off convincingly.

I understand that. I’ve watched that episode several times and keep wanting to do it, but every time i watch it I see something new. I believe this is one I will get to do in my CRI class this year.

Just wondering, where the light area is, did you cover it with black gesso or did you leave it faint like Bob did in the episode?
