Although I painted it three years ago I still vividly remember the experience. I got really immersed in this picture. I love those background layers. It reminds me of a walk we sometimes take up in the Chiltern hills, i would love to live in that cottage.

I absolutely like the effect you achieved here. Trees are nice, smooth and hazy a bit because of blending. and the house stands out so great in these environments and this is not just a small cabin, this is beautiful cottage. House is a focal point in this painting!
