I struggled with the background - it came out looking more streaky than I wanted. The rocks were a lot of fun highlighting. Another fun afternoon hanging out with Bob :)

i understand what you mean with the background but if you ask me it makes something special out of it. the color combo with this almost tiedye looking background makes it very hypnotizing/psychedelic. i might not be something "classic" but i think its perfect the way it is! inspires me to try to paint one of those skies myself..
