2nd painting. I chose it because it didn't have any mountains. Was using the totally wrong technique for making the evergreens. So much wrong! But it got me painting and learning and that's the important thing. :)

It is a fact that this wonderful painting isn't really an simple and easy one! I got lost a bit with depth and distance simply because I painted that one on a huge canvas, about the size of a really not so small window.
Quite some tutorials on YouTube for painting trees and evergreens, I can recommend YOVETTE.
