My first ever attempt at oil painting. Happy with some parts of it, a bit less with some others, overall a great and greatly tiring experience. My main struggle was putting light colours on top of darker ones without mixing them in the brush. After me initially hating on the background trees (as I was clueless how to make them look decent), my boyfriend insisted we name them "Annie's First Five" and naming does indeed lead to attachment.
P.S The website seems to have a pretty harsh image compression, so I had to literally snip a screenshot of my photo to avoid weird lines all over it :/
