My version has 82 total trees in it. I wasn’t ready at my beginning for this painting and had to learn my way into it. I have been painting for just over 2 years and this was a painting that I really wanted to try, I recommend trying this painting as it was challenging but very worth the challenges it presented. 3 colors of gesso. 3 colors of oil and lots of patience, it was well worth the effort. Snow is very nice, it has shadow part and a little of orange/pink in the highlight. The way how you did water, snow, gives the crystal clear mirror effect.
