Here is my version of this painting, again on a wood plaque. This one WAS SO HARD TO DO. And I am disappointed in the outcome. It took almost 3 hours to do...which is the longest ever for me on a small workspace. It was impossible for me to get the sun rays done the way Bob showed..so i gave up even trying, and just tried to blend sky as best as I could. And it looks like the boat is heading out to sea...lol.

Hmmm, must be the medium then that you used since that sun isn't very hard to do. One has to blend it correctly and not use to much paint at once per applied color. No worries, have another go at this. LOVE this different shapes and canvasses of yours!
