Still learning pine trees...my nemesis, so I added a happy oak tree trunk to the side
I just watched that video....super helpful!! And the next recommended one was this one - this (and the one you posted) are both about acrylics but I really think I can use some of these in my paintings!!

Thank you so much for your feedback!! I love how supportive this site is! (and yet don't blow smoke up your butt - you are also helpful which I LOVE!!)
I fixed the trees after watching that video and I'm way way way happier with them....I wish I could upload it here in comments to show....but I'm so much happier with them. Thank you!
Dear Stephanie, so great to read this worked out for you! Meanwhile I had a look at the video link you shared and I'm very enthousiast about it. Such great tutorial for several different trees. I will guard that one!
Please, upload your upgraded painting a second time, I (and many others also I believe) am very anxious to see the result, no worries! :)

Dear Stephanie, I got a tip from 'Sunnylady' once and she adviced me to watch Yovette on YouTube. Her method of painting evergreens has helped me 100%, maybe you can find some inspiration there. Here is the link:

Love that turbulent sky of yours!!
