Golden Rays of Sunshine

Madame Mouton 29 Feb 2020

Not my best painting, the trees are hardly to be seen, but I liked to use the foam brush for the first time in the foreground

Gosh, I got blasted out of my chair by this one! It is a reality that such massive shine occurs, I witnessed that myself once, almost completely blinded by the low sun through some trees. The foam brush is a nice tool, is it? Though they are disposable, I try to clean them a few times to reuse them. I learned also that size of the brush has a great influence on the objects. Mostly I use a too large one, my fault. Good painting madame!

Very interesting and powerful. How strong and bright may be the sun behind those trees! Well done!
Thank you too for discussing about the foam brush, it brings ideas.
