Bridge to Autumn

NJBob 13 Jan 2020

This was my third attempt at painting in my life. It is also the third Bob Ross inspired painting i've done. I found the background to be a lot of fun and felt creative using my own colors and adding tree details. I was a little intimidated by the covered bridge before i started but it actually wasn't too bad after i realized that if i mess up i could could just scrape the old paint away. I found the foreground the most difficult. As Bob says figuring out the lay of the land was not easy for me and my mistakes were not as easy to hide. Overall the painting did not come out at all like i thought but i still ike it and it's hangin in my office right now.

camera's playing tricks with the left side of the painting, it's not scratchy at all like it appears.
