My second Bob Ross painting. I wasn't thrilled with how the dark areas in the foreground came out - I think I got a little crazy putting down the brown for the bank of the water area! But I like the colors and the soft/hazy background. Also my leafy trees need some work. I had a hard time getting the results I wanted from the liner brush.
I agree with @lightsnow, the golden glow on the right side is really quite special! This is especially the case in contrast to the otherwise darker and more muted foreground colors. As s Bob reminds us: you can't have light without the dark. Nice work!

This is great work for only your second attempt. All of these things you mentioned will come with practice, stick to it! Also, I'm not sure if this was on purpose or if it was one of those happy accidents, but the lighter grass on the right looks like sun shining through the trees!
