Patoex 05 Nov 2019

My 6th painting, the bushes are so difficult, so are the trees as well.

You achieved some really impressive realism in your mountain. I had to do a double take. Great job!

Hi Dracula thank you, I appreciate it, I still have a lot to learn, I find the pine trees quite difficult to paint, the bushes too, but that's why I practice a lot. Greetings

Trees and bushes are the most difficult things for me as well. I find that avoiding repeating brush patterns and adding plenty of color variation helps me get results I am happy with. But most of all, as you said, practice makes the biggest difference. Can't wait to see more!

For the bushes ill use the 1 inch brush and the oval brush and sometime the half size rond brush, en for the evergreen the fanbrush, ill wil be try 1 inch or the 2 inch brush for the evergreens maybee the results are better than, and a lot of practice practice.

The reflections in the water and the mountain are very realistic and the sky is manfic, great painting.

Chris thank you very much, i appreciate it 👍

Standing ovation for this one. The reflections in the water are about the best I ever saw for the technique used. Super!!
