I am so glad to have realized I can freehand these oval paintings. It saves me a lot of frustration dealing with contact paper and prevents any "surprises" of paint having crept under the stencil. That said, without the stencil, I am certainly more cautious around the edges, which is not ideal.

Great scene, very nice. The orange gives it an ominous look.
This is laid out nicely. Everything in it gently pulls your eye to that majestic mountain that's highlighted by that orange glow. The freehand oval looks fantastic!
