My painting look so different than B.Rs . I sometimes feel like the foreground will look too crowded if I add more. When I have tried add more to the foreground it always turned into a mess. I do have the bad habit of overworking my paintings so , no shame on BR technique- my personal difficulties of doing good detail in foreground.
Well I can relate to that for sure, I think we all can! What Helen said is something I had to come to terms with too, no matter what you do, there's no 2 equal paintings, and that's kind of the beauty of it!
I really like how soft everything feels! And I definitely get drawn to the mountain and the lake! I think you did really well!
Very pretty!

That's exactly how I felt when I first started. Don't ever worry about your painting not being the same as Bob's, a million people could paint the same picture and they would all be different. Practice your detail work on a cheap practice canvas, you can wipe it off and use it over and over again. You will get there. Your trees on both sides draw my eye into the centre of the painting which is good, but I go straight to that blue spot at the foot of the mountain and I can't see what it is. I would blend that away a little bit so it's less prominent. You definitely have space for a little cabin in the midground left of centre. Keep at it, you're doing good.
