Autumn Days

There were enough challenges for me in this beautiful autumn scene: first to put in the colors on the black canvas without using clear (I hád to use some oil for it) and after that put in liquid white (!) for the sky, it results in a kind of evening glow. Then the trees with unusual strokes: touching the canvas with the top of the brush and give it a little push to the center of the tree, the same for the highlights. Tapping the grass without liq. clear was going better then with. And finally the big tree in the middel of the water on a small peace of land with some colorful leaves. On canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
