The liquid clear was old and too tough to use anymore, so I used linseed oil and a toothbrush for the flick actions, which also works with the oil as you can see in the picture. Hard in this painting for me was to use a little bit of paint to get it not too bright, on wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm.
Great tree limbs!
Very pretty and love the bare tree Jos, my problem with LC is that it forms a skin on the top after each use. βοΈ
Thank you Dirk, Helen (Bob draws them with a linerbrush with thinner, while scratching them out was easier with the same results) and Brian; I had no problems with the shining (I like that) or skinning of the LC, but it was too thick; I could not spread it out even after warming it up and color mixing did not work properly.
I had an issue with liquid clear also being too shiny when I was using the colour glaze over the top technique. Now I wipe it off til it's slightly tacky and no longer slick and it's fine.
Very nice. Lovely colors. Great work.
Thank you Lucas!
Such pretty, soft trees in the background that contrast wonderfully with the sharp and defined tree limbs in front. Also love all the colors you included across your tree line. Beautiful!
Thank you Kerri for your lovely comment!
Nice work, Jos! I really like the softness and contrasting colors.
Thank you Jon!

Hey Jos , super nice work . Do you also have the problem that the clear shines very strongly ? ππΌπ©πͺπ³π±
