Had to redo this colorful winterpainting with Bill-like-trees, because I 'killed' my first attempt with varnishing; for some reason sometimes the varnish is eating up the paint below (yes it was more then a year old) so here is my new version, on canvasboard 30 x 24 cm. I wonder if I will varnish it in the future ...
Gorgeous work!
Very beautiful!!
Thank you Dirk, Sandy and Elsie; Dirk: it was the glossy varnish of 'Old Holland'.
Nicely done Jos. Probably my least favorite episode ever, (maybe because mine was really not good) but you did it justice! βοΈ
HΓ© thank you Brian, in your version you wrote it was a fun one to paint! Maybe you cover it with a bad varnish, so you can create a new one and like it more, my previous one had 0 comments, but I liked it, but this one is better, I think the colors are very nice in this episode.
I love the colors in this piece; you did a beautiful job!
Outstanding work on this scene, Jos!
Thank you very much Kerri and Jon!
Beautiful Jos! Iβve had varnish issues as well. I started using a couple coats of spray speed varnish and then I will coat with the brushed on varnish.
Thank you Bob, I think I only use liquid glossy varnish from Talens with the brush in the future, that gives me almost no problems, just bought a new bottle of 250 ml.
Well done. Nice sky!
Thanks Tom!
