Seascape Fantasy

Caylakas 27 Jun 2024

I really like how the sky came out on this one. The rocks not so much. I think Bob was rushing a bit at the end of the video. The highlight color on the rocks really should have reflected more of the sky color. They sort of stand out weirdly this way. Maybe I’ll tweak it after it dries.

This is beautiful! The rocks don't bother me in any way but I can see what you mean by tweaking the highlight color if you wanted to. I love that pink sky against the green water

Beautiful, and I love the sunlight through the wave and on the shore!👍✌️

Fabulous sky.

Beautiful

Thanks, all. Not sure how I feel about the green water, but I guess that’s why Bob called it a fantasy.

Super work👍🏼🇩🇪

Beautiful job!

Your colors are fabulous Brian!

Superb seascape Brian!

This is fantastic. Im really loving your composition.

Honestly, Im too much of a pansy to attempt a seascape just yet. Haha. Once day.

Nice job from top to bottom!

Well thanks! And AaronR, give it a shot. The worst that can happen is that you have to scrape off the paint and start over. Maybe try just one part of it. If you struggle with waves, then just do a bunch of different kinds of waves on the canvas. If it’s sky, do an entire sky on the whole canvas.. Bob talked about how he would practice mountains by doing an entire painting of just mountains and then scrape off all the paint and do it again the next time.. Give it a try!

Look amazing
