Winter Moon

I’m not sure if this one doesn’t use magic clear because it just wasn’t invented yet or if it was specifically not used here. Does anybody know? I noticed later his black canvas paintings use it.

Hi Max, I have watched probably 100 of his episodes, and really it is all about the wet on wet technique. There are paintings he uses the color to primr the canvas and then uses a "thin" coat of liquid clear. I used linseed oil as my liquid clear at times.
