I loved the sky. It was a heart pounding new experience. Bob said go crazy. I was like. Well WTH...ok.. I did. It was amazing to feel the freedom of that brush. I love this one. It sold for 250$. I left the cabin out. I felt it took away from that sunset. I calline Ohio Sunset. It was entered in 2 events. But had sold prior to those. It hung in my home for a year before I found a frame. It's 24 x 36 inches. Oil on 1/2 inch canvas. Wish I could duplicate it. But it's gone.....Cherry frame. It's brighter in person. How to get good photos?
Very nice
Love the colors in this. Well done!
Well done Tricia! Love the softness you brought into this one!
you need to have painting by the white wall near the window, no direct sunshine on it, preferably a scattered light. And then paly with the settings of your camera or phone. One of 10 pics will be a good one as you need to find angle to avoid glare and shadows from your hands.
Second option - take it outside on a cloudy day. But still will need to figure the anti-glare angle and avoid shadows. In any case it is trial and error.
The worst is to take picture in the evening in poorly lit room unless you just need it for some other purpose.
Thank you all.
