Inspired by TIB user @Ninoum and her Gorgeous version. Done on 11x14 canvas. My 2 goals were to dominate with a yellow color scheme, and to avoid as much green as possible. Success! I should have made goal #3 - do not run out of room at the bottom lol ๐ No fences for me! I really love doing underpainting. It adds so much character without effort. I think this was one of the fastest paintings I have done (which means about an hour still).
Beautiful!

Really gorgeous work!
Very nice. Love the colors.
Love this one. The light and dark are very nice.
Fantastic job!
Fantastic job!
Thank you Everyone!
I really like it. What do you mean with under painting?
Thank you Ted! The underpainting I am referring to here is where Bob uses black gesso to create a "pattern" on the canvas and to serve as a dark (black) base. Some shows through on the finished painting. It makes much easier for no mud mixing as well.
There are many of Bob's compositions that use this technique - some easy and some more difficult. You can find them by searching the Bob Ross paintings search bar on here - use "by content" and select "under painting"
Great job!
Ya that tree is one of the best I have seen . What a great job with that. Look so real.
Thank you Tom!
Thank you Charles - I think trees are one of my favorites to paint!
