I'm using a beginner set of oil paints, and because its a cheaper set, it's actually a little hydrophobic from the real oil paints. This caused the great details in the bottom left rock/cliff area, my favorite part of the painting.
@dracula - all with the 2" brush! I did change up the coloring a bit - Bob used a black/brown combo for intermediate layer, but I used a combo of blue/red/brown. Really added some nice dimension-ing in the "lighter" shadow areas since that area is technically more lit up in the sunlight. Thanks for commenting <3
What is the size of the canvas? I love colors and details! and cant believe it is only 2 inch brush! Incredible!
It feels like classic oil painting, doesn't it? is you white titanium or zink white?
@Sunnylady thank you! Canvas is 18 x 24. All titanium white for the whites.
My word, the fall and specially the bushes and the rocks are out of this world! SUPER!

The tree and rock textures in this painting are to die for! I especially love the tree in the upper right. Did you use a fan brush for the foliage? Really excellent work!
