30x20cm
Oil on canvasboard
Another pretty small one.
This also fits in a standard photo frame, so it is up on my wall amongst the winter themed photographs.
I picked this one that day because of the quiet atmosphere.
I can totally picture myself walking down that path, enjoying the quiet.
Most of the painting was done with the filbert brush, including the foliage.
Thank you Dirk. <3
Yeah, 24x30 is a standard format for these canvasboards. I had to cut a strip off to make it fit the picture frame, because photographs are 20x30 or 21x30.
But cutting that strip off worked well.
Love it Titia! Very pretty and you achieved a lot of distance!
Thank you Cronenberg. <3
Very nice work!
Very nice on such a small canvas, some shops sell frames in 24x30 cm (Hornbach f.i.).
Outstanding!! Very beautiful!
Thank you Tom, Joha and Lc. <3
@Joha:
Might check out Hornbach then.
The ones I have are wooden frames from HEMA.
Fantastic
I love the water and waterline the way the snow is hanging over the edge. Awesome texture in the snow too
Very beautiful!
Very nice!
Thank you Coldethel, Jeff, rtparsjr and Jin. <3
This is gorgeous Titia.
Wonderful Titia! You always know how to uplift any painting. How long have you been painting for?
Beautiful Titia. Great depth and definition in the snow.
I've been painting since I was a teenager (I'm 50 now) but I had a 20 year hiatus. Painted 4 or 5 paintings during those 20 years.
Been using acrylics since I was in my early 20's.
I had only painted a couple of small oil paintings until I rediscovered Bob. I had no idea what I was doing back then, but they somehow turned out alright without too much mudmixing. LOL
great job... blue in water is perfect ..

Super implemented. Very nicely captured the mood. I almost always paint on 24 x 30 cm (9.45x11.80).ππΌπ©πͺ
