Barns are probably my fav type of buildings to paint. They have so much character. This one made my βBlack Fridayβ a very bright one.
Once the painting is dry, I will add some little duckies swimming in the pond. π¦πͺΏ
First of all, thank you very much! π Second, it is wet-on-wet all the way through.
Which lines are you exactly referring to? The fence wires in my foreground? I want to give you the precise answer you are asking about. π
Especially the details of the barn look like they were drawn with a ruler. I like it a lot. My hand shakes while holding the brush or knife :)
By the way, the highlights created in different colors in the foreground look very rich and delicate.
100% Nancy perfection.
I once painted this piece when I was a beginner. Your work is very nice with beautiful colors and great details!
Super perfect, Nancy. The small details make it incredibly uniqueππΌπ©πͺ
Good morning Nancy! Super work. Your barn is really good. You even got the hay mow right (which says you have some country in you). I love how the old roof is growing things. Pretty fantastic painting.
Just gorgeous with superb details!

Magnificent painting. I was wondering about a subject. Do you make your paintings using the "wet on wet" technique? It is very difficult to control the brush on wet ground. Your lines are very clear and clean in the foreground of the painting.
