Babbling Brook

Thought I would try one of the backlit paintings for something different and to practice with the liner brush. Definitely need more work with it as I can’t seem to get a much thinner line than a filbert. So I improvised and made the background trees thick trees that look like garbage instead of thin trees that look like garbage. Also, I can’t shake my unconscious mind’s OCD to make everything symmetrical. Happy with the foreground though, which was nice because I was extremely frustrated halfway through this painting, but felt like I ended on a good note that makes me want to try again.
