I added some happy mountains to the background. I thought the right side was lacking. I feel pretty good about this one. 16x20.
Really good work here RT. One suggestion I could make would be to brush out the mountains to soften them and push them back into the distance. Your foreground grasses are really great!
Thank for the tips! You’re both right. I wish I’d have tap tap tapped the bases and pulled up. Given a little more visual separation.
Love the glow you got going on here.
Thanks LC
This episode is the first one where I saw him make a mistake. In the video, he created the saddle at the bottom of the river (like I copied). In the online published versions of this painting, there is no saddle, the river continues right on off the canvas. You have to give Bob props for his acting ability, it never fazed him during filming. From now on, if I chose to copy Bob again, I will use the published version as a guide rather than following the video so closely.
nice soft painting Bob.

Good morning Bob, overall great work. If you pull the hills higher / bigger and also the row of trees, you don't need to integrate mountains. But also a good solution👍🏼🇩🇪
