Blue Moon

Painting #4 that I have done. A lot of firsts for me on this one. I created the black canvas, my first nighttime painting, portrait orientation, seascape. All firsts. Bob’s painting has the big breaking wave in it, but I don’t know that it needs it. I’m in Florida and it may seem more Florida-like without it. Maybe. I might revisit this scene and try it again without it. Seascapes are more difficult that I thought. I see Bob do it and I see it in my mind, but translating it to an image on the canvas is hard. I don’t mind this painting, but I see stuff I wish were different. That’s probably a common artist dilemma. 😊
