Old Country Mill

Cronenberg89 21 Jun 2023

First off I didn’t orient the canvas as Bob did and I experimented a little today and did a wash of color and thinner for the sky and water and then painted on the dry canvas. I referenced Ninoum’s version for mine. I like how it turned out overall. 16x20

Do you feel that your foreground was easier to apply using that method? Nice job. Really like your large rocks.

Easier I don’t think so tbh. Different for sure. Thanks Tomi!

Good Job ,BrianπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Nice! This is a tough episode. Not so tough as the mill from season 3 but still tough.

Thanks Dirk, the added picture shows that I extended the leaves on the big tree down onto the trunk FYI. πŸ‘πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Thank you Tom, I have painted that one as well and early on in my BR journey. I will have to redo that one someday (not too good).

You did a great job B!! Super mill! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ I agree with Tom, this is a tough one to do. Glad you could get inspired from my version! 😊
