Grandpa's Barn

Cronenberg89 18 May 2023

I deviated from Bob’s with the background but pretty much stayed with what Bob put on the canvas after that. I like this one! 16x20

I like this one too Brian. Nice job.

Thank you Tony!

Fantastic! I love the texture of the barn boards.

Thank you BB!

Very nice Brian.

Thank you Tomi!

Hi Brian, I like what you have done with the trees in the background, the path and the trees, and the barn certainly looks younger and you have placed it a bit further back in the painting compared to Bob's painting. If I might offer what I hope is a constructive comment about the barn, - it would be about the perspective and grounding of the left side of both the barn and the scillion compared to Bob's original. The perspective of buildings can be difficult at times. Cheers

Thanks so much for your comment Dave, I went back to it and played around on the left side a bit. I raised the elevation of the grass some and changed the scillion roof a little. I think that it looks a little better. You are πŸ’― correct about perspective on buildings too!

Oh yeah I added some bush and some weeds on the left side too. Lol

That made a big difference Brian, looks safe to walk through the barn to the back now. Well recovered. Cheers

Lol yep, thanks D!
