I just thought the old barn looked so interesting and like a good building challenge so I thought I'd try it. There's a lot of old abandoned ones like that around here and I've always found them fascinating. I have such a tendency to make the things that scare me smaller than I mean to, when I was laying it out it felt like I was making it SO BIG but it turned out pretty reasonable. With such a big building in the picture I found I really had to sit back and look and think carefully to figure out exactly where I wanted the fence to run and how big. I think once it has dried I would like to go back and try glazing a little sunlight into the roof shingles in some spots, I bet it would just hang in the low spots and do a very cool effect.
