Bubbling Stream

Ninoum 26 Mar 2023

Since this is a smaller canvas (11โ€x14โ€), I decided to change a few thingsโ€ฆ dead tree, left side foreground bush (instead of another tree) and I did not cover my big right sided rock with grass.

I am starting to like the first series. I know how to tweak things in those paintings belonging to these. Fun challenge!!

Good Morning Beauty , it Looks very cool . Not my favourite, but you have implemented it world class as always. You know Sunday is matchday I have to go ๐Ÿ“Nice Sunday Nancy

Really a good job! Love the stream!

Happy Sunday and ๐Ÿ“ my friend! Thank you for that nice comment! Itโ€™s not my fav episode either. But like I mention, I am starting to like the first few series because my challenge is to make them look better than the originals. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you very much Sandy! The stream is actually the best one I have made so far. I usually end up with too much paint or itโ€™s too liquid and I loose the nice striations in the water. I found the perfect consistency in this one and learned something.

Very nice Nancy, out of interest, what colours did you use for the rocks as they look so, umm rock like! ๐Ÿ˜

Very nice

Thanks Niv! For the rock colors, I made the background color out of a very dark VD brown. The highlights are from a mix of titanium, black and Prussian blue giving more of a blueish gray color. ๐Ÿ˜€

Thank you Cold!

I agree Nancy, Season one is a good challenge to use what you've learned and make them your own and you are rocking it!

Thank you so much Jessie! It means bunches! โ˜บ๏ธ

I love that big tree on the right side. Really well done.

Thanks Tom! It was supposed to be a tree with foliage. As I was doing it, I thought it would look too busy. So I kept it dead.

Looks really nice. Great work!
