I've been working on another painting, one that takes way more time, and this one was a nice quick break from that other one. Perfect to spend a Sunday afternoon on.
Had my eye on this one for a while and when I found this oddly sized old canvas in my attic I figured it'd be a good one for this scene.

Having those underwater rocks show through the water is quite a nice effect. <3

this is gorgeous! love the subtle hints of green and yellow
