Twilight Beauty

Ninoum 02 Mar 2023

I didnโ€™t feel doing an oval on a 11โ€x14โ€ canvas. I would have lost too much painting space! Lol!

Again, my crimson had a hard time to come thru. I now believe itโ€™s my paint that is at fault. It still turned out ok but not the way I expected.

Bob put the shadow of his cirrus clouds on the bottom of them but I put them on top after checking real pictures of cirrus clouds at sunset. Small detail but I think it make the painting a little more real. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi Nancy, this is a very nice scene that you have implemented perfectly. Beautiful deep, good idea with the clouds and the sky looks terrific.๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผThe countdown is on

Thank you my friend! And yea, the countdown is on. This was # 96. ๐Ÿคฉ

You nailed the glistening snow N! Very pretty!

Work eats me up. I can't get to anything at the moment. Nice day Beauty

Thank you so much B! How have you been?

I am sure you are itching to paint my friend!!! See it this wayโ€ฆ next time you paint, you will appreciate and savor every single minute of it even more. Take your time and paint something your really wanted to do for a long time. It will be a special moment.

Really beautiful! Love the sky and the effect you used on the glistening snow! Trees are super!

Super busy turning over a building to the owner and unable to paint during the week for now Nancy. Looking forward to doing some painting this weekend.

Thank you so much Sandy!! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I thought something was holding you back Brian. I didnโ€™t see much of you here lately. Looking forward to seeing your next marsterpiece! ๐Ÿ˜€

I think you did very well. Regarding the crimson. I use winsor and newton professional. I only use this for crimson as the others are too weak for my taste. Unfortunately it is awful expensive.

Wow, Nancy! I have just looked at some of your work and am amazed at what you have achieved in such a short time. You have a real talent and am very glad you have discovered it. In this piece, I particularly love the bark in the foreground trees and the delicate detail of the foreground bushes.

Thank you Tom! I will def change my crimson paint. I will order the Windsor and Newton. I use that brand for my titanium white if I am not doing mountains or anything that requires a very firm paint.

Thank you so much Barbara! ๐Ÿ˜Š The trees were my fav part to do! I always had a good affinity with art and music. I am now addicted to painting! Lol. I am so glad I found Bob and TIB. Very relaxing and sooooo enjoyable!
