I took a picture with the wall behind since I couldnโt this one straight. I put a black & white border. It looks framed this way.
I might put the leaves once dry. Those forest sceneโฆ. ๐ฅฐ๐โค๏ธ
I love those beautiful crisp foreground trees that really stand out Nancy. Well painted. Cheers
Nice. One of my favorites from the world of Bob
Loving it.
I like how there seems to be sunlight coming through from the right.
What did you use for the path? Flicking specks of paint on it to give it that sandy look?
Love this, those big trees are outstanding ๐
Thank you my friend! ๐ I believe you are playing ๐ todayโฆ how is the match going? I am sure itโs lots of fun. Enjoy!
Thank you so much Dave! ๐ฒ๐ณ
Thank you Matt! Bob has a total of 3 other similar forest themes like this one. I painted them all (you did too) as they are some of my fav. Just something special about those west coast deep forest scenes.
Thank you so much Titia! I used the knife for the path and I did splattered 3 different colors on it: VD brown (thin) , a mixture of liquid white & sienna and pure liquid white. I could have gotten the splatters a little bigger to give more the look of little rocks. I wanted more of a natural look, not a clean one. ๐
Hey Beauty , back home . i had 3 top Matches ,won all ๐But i pay the Price , Very tired . ๐๐๐ผ
Great job Dirk!!! ๐ Relax and enjoy the rest of your day. Itโs well deserved! Congrats!๐
Thank you Nancy
Very nicely done Nancy :) your trees look beautiful! One of my favorites of his. You have a gift!
I like it as is without the leaves!
Thank you so much Daniel! โบ๏ธ That means a lot.
Thanks Jessie. I think you are right. The bg being so busy already, I think itโs better without them.
Can you explain how you work with all that green and keep the planes separate? Green seems to be my nemesis.
Very nice!
Tomi, I keep my greens in separate planes my adding a little yellow ochre to it, then I add a little Indian yellow to the mix. On the next touch, I use a hair of red. Iโll then make it a little darker, back to more cad yellow, then dull it down with a little van dyke brown, etc. Always create a new green tint/hue. This way, you keep your greens separated. Hope this helps a little. ๐
Thank you so much Sandy! ๐
Nicely done, all the different elements are executed very well and in harmony together.
Thank you so much Tom. Those deep forest paintings are some of the best to paint.
Beautiful dimension on those trees!
Thank you Pam! ๐
