I still haven't made friends with the knife Bob's way so I've had to do my own thing. Still, I was happy with the way the mountain turned out. And I enjoyed painting the sky on this one.
Thank you. It has great texture doesn't it. It came from studying the cliffs near where I live (we don't have mountains). When the tide goes out it leaves a layer of soft sand behind in the crevices at the base of the cliff creating a contrast of rough and smooth areas, and I thought it would be a good technique to try on a mountain.
I like the ways you did your trees at the bottom of the mountain. Great job!
