Thanks Matt! I did something similar when I did "Sunlight in the Shadow" with Dana Jester. So it made sense to use that fan brush technique to get the light coming thru the forest. But I have to admit, I would have doubted it otherwise. It works beautifully!! What do you think?

Lovely painting, for me, the bit that brings it all together and therefore makes it real, is the little muddy patch in the right foreground by the rocks, that's like the starting point to allow your eyes to wander majestically to the highlighted grass areas and beyond. Love it 💪
