This is one of my favorite Bob Ross paintings because of the colors he used in the sky. I really think I may try using these sky colors in other paintings that I do. I still struggle with the bushes that I try to make with the one inch brush that you can see on the bottom right side of this painting. Perhaps the consistency of the paint isn't thin enough, or too thin. Any advice someone can provide with respect to this struggle would be appreciated.
Thank you very much for the suggestions Mgiese84. I will certainly give attempt to incorporate these on my next paintings.
Great mountain. Overall, a really nice painting. And those bush highlights are pretty good.
Beautiful painting!

I think you did a nice job especially on the mountain. For the bush highlights I much prefer the round brush versus the 1”. Biggest advice I’d say it u need a decent amount of paint and 9 times out of 10 you’ll probably need to thin it (at least I do). And use light pressure when tapping. Hope it helps and welcome to the site.
