A little different prep on this particular piece out of the world of Bob. Here you cover the entire canvas with sap green first and then begin to paint on top of that. I moved the dead tree slightly to the left versus Bob who put it smack dab in the middle of his stream.
Thanks Sandy. Yea I like my placement better. Plus I think the branches leaning off to the right of the trees help draw your eye to the center of the painting.
So this one doesn’t use liquid clear and then color? Love it!

Great job on this one! All of the light just pops against the darks. Love the subtle highlighting on the "birch" trees too.
