This one was a challenge because Bob uses a mixture of liquid white and liquid clear! Will not do that again, one or the other
Thank you! I’m a sucker for Autumn!
That liquid white/liquid clear combo is tough. I almost think it’s best to mix them together and then apply. But still you did a very nice job.
Yeah I mixed them together on a paper plate first then applied it. And then when I put the thin brown paint on for the distant trunks and branches it did the wonky liquid clear/thinner reaction so I had to fix that and go over them with liquid black and brown. Thanks for the compliment I definitely had to work hard to make it work!
Really beautiful! Love the big tree and the fence is terrific!
Very pretty! I agree about the liquid white + clear also = weird. I think this has an "antique" look to it.
Thank you flipper! Every time I do a painting with a lot of fall colors like browns I get very comfy nostalgic vibes. Must have been the wood paneling in the house I grew up in! But also I grew up in Michigan and now live in Florida so I miss Fall
Looks great Jessie, lovely depth and of course the big tree. Well done. Cheers

Beautifully done. The light and depth in this is great and I love the variety of colours in the trees.
