Painted on a 16 x 20 canvas. My version of Nature's Splendor is based on a photo I took of Balanced Rock at Arches National Park in Utah. Balanced was shown in the opening of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The sight is breath taking and a painting or a photo does not do it justice.

After completing it there was a a lot of sky and maybe it needed something in the foreground because the rock was much larger than it appears in the painting

Very cool! I like the colors of the rock best.
