24x18 oil. Might be my favorite so far. Bob talked about adding color to the framed background area so I tried it out. I substituted Indian Yellow for Yellow ochre around the sun cause I like the bright pop from that a bit better. Really enjoyable painting… kind of surprised more people have not done this one.

Boy, that sky is beautiful and you’re waves are just perfect. I haven’t tried an ocean/wave scene and I don’t plan to for a while. Too intimidated. But you nailed it!
