This is my 17th painting. I wanted to paint something colorful for my grandmother that she can hang up in her room, both to brighten up the dreary assisted living facility room she is in as well as brighten up her spirits simultaneously. Out of the total time it took me to paint this one (2.5 hours), the sky took at least half that time. 16x20 oil on canvas.

The evergreen shapes and general tree details are lovely. The whole painting has a tranquil mood.
