This one I did for my mom’s Mother’s Day gift. I thought it was a perfect scene for her Florida home. I actually did this one early last year but without the oval. I definitely prefer this particular scene with the oval.

With the vibrant colors it naturally has more contrast than the original. It's also provides a good example of using more defined lines that also provides contrast (seperation) within each section of the painting. Mom must love it.

Beautiful! Our loved ones are often our biggest cheerleaders and encouragers for painting. Your ovals always impress me. I tried the contact paper route last year but couldn’t get it to work. Really well done.
