Went with a Steve Ross painting today. I liked the way the birch trees were setup compositionally and I really liked painting them. I used Nic (Hankins) little mountain trick & added a little phthalo green to the shadow side of the mountain.

Thanks JScott. Nick will sometime add a touch or phthalo green to the shadow side of his mountains. Gives it a little more pop.
