Not Quite Spring

March 2022 was the most sunny month ever measured here in the Netherlands, we had already days with 18 degrees (C). But from yesterday there is snow falling and it's really cold and as the title of this painting says Not Quite Spring (anymore). I liked the mountain group with an other technique for the higlights used by Bob: horizontal strokes. I always want to try new techniques, maybe it gives better results. Also the sky with dark holes in different colors was new for me. Hardest were the distant trees with snow on the background, the dark color mixed with the white a lot of times. On canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
