I need to have more patience with water reflections. In acrylics, it doesn't really work to pull them down for me because whatever paint I want to pull down is already dry. đŸ˜• This is the first cabin I've successfully painted with a palette knife. I like the red highlights on the big trees the best.
paint crazy - thanks for the tip - I'll check out the YouTube. đŸ˜ƒ I think what I should have done is worked up the sky and water reflections in white. Let it dry, then glazed in the colour. I've seen a lot of acrylic painters do this technique with great results. Actually I used the technique for my Woman of the Lake painting last week and it worked really well.

You have to put the paints on a Wet paper towel for the paints to stay wet, if you watch Clive art on you tube you will see what I mean. I like what you did here it’s very beautiful, keep up the great creativity
