My second time using a 16x20 canvas, and this turned out to be one of my top paintings.
I used Shadowlink11's rendition of this one as a guide, because I liked it better without the middle mountain.
I made the evergreens with a fan brush. Can't believe it. I've never been able to get a tree to come out good with that brush. Maybe we've finally become friends.
And once I found out how easy it is to make rocks, I kept on "rockin" and made three more. Sorry. Couldn't resist the pun. 😏
Very nice! The mountains turned out great and I like the overall misty feel.
Thank you, Sandy and Matt. I appreciate the kind words.
I was glad Nic Hankins got rid of that middle mountain too during the teach! Glad I could bring his teachings to you!
Jessie: Oh, so that's where that came from. I thought you just decided you didn't want a middle mountain. Anyway, I preferred your version to Bob's. I'm sure he's okay with that. 🙂
Thanks for posting your painting.
