I thank JosephDurham for bringing this idea to me. I remember seeing this idea somewhere else too. Off my Bob Ross board game, lol. This composition I thought worked well for the stencil as the middle of the painting is basically green grass. Hence no one will miss it not being there ๐Ÿ˜€. I have a few touch-ups to do to the white once it dries. But surprisingly the masking tape worked pretty well. Canvas size was 24"x24".

Very pretty Matt. Certainly included a lot of great things there! Distant mountain, trees, bushes, water, the rocks, itโ€™s all great.

Looks great. The colours in the water are very good. The masking tape worked really well.

Thanks Rah! The masking tape took a lot of patience lol.

Looks great Matt. I bet the masking tape took as long as the painting ;)

Really awesome job! Love it!

Lol thanks Tony! I bet it was fairly close between the masking tape and painting as to which took longer. Actually I used tweezers to remove it.

Thanks Sandy! Once it dries and I can touch it up I'll post another photo.

This is awesome! I was wondering about the stencil and then I read the above comments.....what patience you had that day to do that with the masking tape! But totally worth it!

Thanks Pam! I thought it was worth it too. At least to do it one time.

Great job and I think that you must have the patience of Job to have done it with tape! Beautiful happy bright colors in his head! (And yours)

Lol thanks Brian! Most other things in life I don't have patience for ๐Ÿ˜€
